SOLIDS KINETIC THEORY OF MATTER: The theory of kinetic energy is that if it have movement it is kinetic , It also talk about theory of matter that refers at it in 4 states : solid , liquid , gas , and the most uncommon one is plasma . ( Matter is everything that took space and have volume or mass. ) MATTER IN MOTION WITH PARTICLES: The particles that have movement have kinetic energy , the ones stored in the core have potential because is energy stored . Particles move because they crash into each other and when u have a chemical reaction the bonds between the particles break letting the change take form .  ATO M S: Atoms are the smallest particles that makes up matter , atoms are conformed by 2 or more elements for example: H2(hydrogen) and O(oxigen) when they are combined they formed H2O that is water the atoms form depends of the object if the object is solid or liquid the atoms are together but if the material is gas the atoms are near but separated .
Thinking critically 16. Much discussion has focused on the need to drive more efficent cars and use less electricity if the law of conservation of energy is true. why are people concerned about energy usage ? The problem is that the original form of energy (gasoline) is now mechanical energy and is not  reusable when you used once. 17. If heat flows in only one direction, how can both hot and cold liquids reach room temperature as they sit on a table? They both reach the average temperature of the room where they are ex: In a cold room the cold liquid stays cold and the hot one colds. 18. Think about what happens to jack and jill in the nursery room. what kinds of energy are used? how was each energy form used? If they are walking they are using kinetic energy (The one that use movement) If they are sitting down they are using potential energy (The one that is stored) 19. compare the 3 temperature scales you learned about. how are they different? how are they similar?
Endothermic reactions                            Exothermic reactions     * Baking a bread                                       * Burning wood                                                                         * Striking a match                                                                        * Exploding Dynamite      WHY: It takes heat from                         WHY: They all release       the sorroundings.                                     energy.

I will use an example about a pendulum and it will be about swings and lenght of each one.......            LENGHT/SWINGS PER MINUTES 1 Pendulum: 10 / 25 2 Pendulum: 15 / 65 3 Pendulum: 20 / 90 CONCLUSION : The conclusion is easy if the pendulum is shorter for example at 25 swings the pendulum of length with the numer of 10 will go faster and if we put a pendulum of 20 with 20 swings the volume x mass x speed it will be like the object isn't moving at all so lets take 100 like max. and 0 liek min. The pendulum of  20 would have to had like 85 or 90 to do it at a perfect speed to swing                                       SWINGS PER MINUTE COUNTING LENGHT                               • Light Blue(10"pendulum) • Spa Gray  (15"Pendulum)     •ALL THE SWINGS DEPEND OF THE AMOUNT OF TIME                                         •Dark Blue (20"Pendulum)       YOU WANT•
